Manual Labor

Peyton has been in our lives for an incredible 15 months. She has rolled over, crawled, walked, but there is one thing she hasn't done yet....

Manual labor! And we think it's about time she start earning her keep!

Reading Chair

Peyton has developed a love of books, and I couldn't be happier about it. Now, whenever she gets a book out to read, she either comes and sits in my lap, or she goes and sits in her chair :) It's so cute! I guess books are too important to read just anywhere!

Bad Hair Day

Ice Cream!!!

Peyton got to go to our favorite ice cream shop, Austin Scoops, the other day!  She had tried ice cream one other time, but this was her first ice cream shop experience.  

First, she got to try some of Daddy's birthday cake ice cream in a cone.

Then she got to try some of Mommy's coffee ice cream from a spoon.

And which one was her favorite....the coffee of course!!  So proud :)

Playground

There is a nice, little playground by our house, and Peyton is getting big and adventurous enough to start playing on it.  Here she is trying to climb the stairs like a big girl...no crawling up for her (until she realized her little legs weren't quite long enough to step up and she had to crawl up anyway, but I was proud of her for trying)!

Look Mommy!  Rocks!! 

This looks like a fun thing to try and climb into...hope I don't get stuck!
